Lavender
It has silver, scented, long, thin leaves; in summer it produces many small fragrant clusters of flowers. Most varieties resist the cold and are used in gardens as hedges or large bushes. It can be cultivated in large pots, bearing in mind that the plant grows quickly and can reach over a metre tall.
